David and Jelle attended the NWO Physics conference in Velthoven on January 23 & 24. NWO Physics is the largest physics conference in the Netherlands, with more than 1600 attendees from all Dutch research institutes. Jelle presented our recently published article in Applied Physics Letters in front of a big audience. Besides scientific talks, there were interesting sessions on science communication by Ivo van Vulpen and how to start a start-up by Davide Iannuzi. During the evening program, David performed in the ‘Physics Got Talent’ with colleague Akash, where they played some Cuban music in front of a packed audience.
